Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie | Vegan Gluten Free | Allyson Kramer

Start your fall morning the festive way with this deliciously creamy smoothie that tastes undeniably like pumpkin pie. You can certainly use fresh roasted sugar pumpkin (or most any other type of winter squash, really), but I find it incredibly convenient to use canned. Blackstrap molasses adds a nutritional boost to keep your energy going strong all day long.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

  • 2 large bananas, frozen
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses
  • 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
  • Dash nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses (chilled is best) and enjoy!
